Foley and effects
Footsteps, doors, clothing, impacts and the small sounds that make a place feel real, arranged and timed to the narration.
Audio drama
I produce audio drama the way I produce my own: narration directed line by line, then built up scene by scene with ambience, effects, foley and music, and mixed so the voice always stays clear.
It is slow, careful work, so I take a few titles at a time and quote each one.
Sound design and foley
Footsteps, doors, clothing, impacts and the small sounds that make a place feel real, arranged and timed to the narration.
Running room tone and environment beds, crossfaded between scenes so nothing cuts hard.
Scene-by-scene music direction, sat under the voice so the words stay clear.
Final mixes mastered to a consistent loudness, with dialogue, effects and score delivered as separate stems.
How it works
1. Spotting. We go through the script and mark where sound matters: the moments that need an effect, a shift in music or a change of room.
2. Narration. The voice track is produced and proofed first, because the sound is timed to it.
3. Build. Effects, ambience and music are placed against the finished voice, scene by scene.
4. Review. You listen to finished scenes and flag changes. Fixes are made without rebuilding the whole episode.
5. Delivery. The final mix plus stems, mastered to the loudness your platform expects.
Pricing. Quoted per project. Light atmosphere added to an audiobook is priced on the audiobooks page.
